Joined on stage by her 15-year-old daughter, Vivienne, Jolie was praised by the production's director, Danya Taymor, who acknowledged the "great women who have lifted me up" in her acceptance speech. Sarah Paulson also celebrated her first Tony win, taking home the award for Best Actress in a Lead Role for her performance in the revival of "Appropriate."
