Sheila Flavell CBE, Chief Operating Officer of FDM Group, commented:
“We are proud to be included in the 2023 Military Times Best for Vets: Employer list for another year, highlighting our commitment to supporting the individuals that represent their country. Veterans possess valuable transferable skills for the technology sector. Yet, they often encounter barriers in employment due to challenges in translating their skills and employers overlooking their potential in favour of specific experience.
“The technology industry is facing an ongoing skills crisis., . Ex-forces provide a perfect example of individuals who are both deserving and capable of a career in tech and we at FDM Group hope to continue building our schemes to offer skilled individuals with the platform, training, resources and support needed to join the industry and build a meaningful second career.”
