Miss Puerto Rico and Miss Argentina Reveal That They Are Married
Former Miss Argentina and ex Miss Puerto Rico have delighted their fans by announcing their surprise marriage.
The two beauty queens have recently announced that they are officially married.
A new beauty power couple has taken the stage.
Fabiola Valentin and Mariana Varela reportedly met at the 2020 Miss Grand International competition in Thailand, which took place in March 2021.
After making it to the pageant top 10, the two beauty queens appeared to remain close friends on social media. What fans didn’t know is they were secretly dating the whole time.
Following the end of the competition, the two models began a relationship, though fans had no idea.
The pair posted matching social media videos showing moments from their relationship, including romantic walks on the beach, candid cuddles, champagne toasts and a proposal with gold and silver balloons spelling out, “Marry me?”
Following the announcement, fellow beauty queens flooded messages of support.
“After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors on a special day,” the caption reads in Spanish.
Fans, celebrities and fellow pageant figures congratulated Varela and Valentín on their picture-perfect love.
“Congratulations,” wrote Ghanaian singer and beauty queen Abena Akuaba, who won Miss Grand International 2020. “MGI brought together a beautiful union.”
“Thanks for all the love!” Varela wrote in reply to the well-wishes. “We are very happy and blessed.”
Fabiola Valentin and Mariana Varela were married in a private ceremony on 28 October.
