Do You Want To Go On a Trip During COVID-19? Here is How
Our Disney World Trip to Florida got canceled last March.
This pandemic has shut down businesses and the economy is taking a huge hit. But how can we work together, while following CDC guidelines and maintaining social distancing to also think about the small business owners and help them sustain their livelihood too?
Hence, as a Yoga, meditation, Stress Management, and mindfulness coach I have come up with some plans to still have fun while going out to enjoy the beautiful weather but also to take sufficient precautions to keep us healthy.
These are the below things I came up for having a safe trip plan:
- Less Crowded place: Better to choose less crowded and quiet places like creeks and little countryside for cabins or camping. Keep minimal company and wear your mask.
- Cook and take your food: By cooking your own food we will be reducing the chances of getting exposed to the virus. We will be washing vegetables and cooking the food properly so that we are avoiding the risk of getting affected by the virus.
- Pranayama (breathing techniques): Practicing the pranayama and yogic techniques which help to increase the lung capacity and strengthen the respiratory system to be safe.
- Enhancing immunity: By taking little extra effort on boosting your immunity naturally would help us to fight this situation. This involves the use of pressure points around your body and also triggering the immune response by understanding some hand gestures.
- Calming your mind: Practicing meditation every day for 20 min at least will help to relax your mind. It helps to reduce anxiety and build the inner strength to fight with the present situation with courage.
Some recipes to boost the immunity:
- Consuming turmeric and freshly ground black pepper will help boost your immunity. You can add these two in your soups, vegetable smoothies, pasta any other dish that you are making.
- Boil ginger with water. Add some lemon and honey to it and it will become a refreshing tea. You can take it at least 3 to 4 times a day.
- The best way to make tea is with basil, mint, cinnamon, black whole pepper, cloves, and lemon in warm water. This tasty tea will refresh you so much and helps you to relax.
