Global IT firm adesso has announced expansion in the UK market following record growth.

Based in Germany and operating across 16 European countries, the company specialises in delivering exceptional IT consultancy and software development services to customers in the UK, winning a string of new clients across the pharma, utilities, and manufacturing, industries. As one of the largest and fastest-growing entities in the DACH region, their revenue has surpassed the 1 billion mark.

As part of its growth plans, adesso recently appointed industry veteran Libero Raspa to lead its UK operation to turbocharge the company’s growth. Raspa previously held the position of Head of Europe Sales Strategy & Operations at agoda, an online tech company that is part of Booking Holdings, and prior to that was a senior manager at IBM.

The UK subsidiary is focused on supplying companies in the UK with attractive near-shore and offshore offerings from the adesso Group’s global supply network. It has recently onboarded additional client facing team members and have established partnerships that will better serve customers in the UK with key brands including Microsoft, AWS, SAP, Salesforce, Google and Canonical Ubuntu. adesso have further initiated a partnership with Canonical Ubuntu and are finalising another collaboration with UCL's Institute of Finance and Technology.

adesso has developed its SmartShore model, which was created specifically for near-shore and offshore services, offers software development for IT projects by bringing together highly specialised teams from various national adesso subsidiaries on an agile basis, aligned toward specific challenges. Sophisticated IT projects are supported by international teams made up of IT professionals from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Hungary and India, among others, at the various SmartShore offices operated by the adesso Group as part of its global network.
