CEO for a Week Scheme: Fast Tracking Future Entrepreneurs
Research has found that 75% of Gen Z want to launch their own business, but there is a noticeable absence of entrepreneurship in the curriculum.
To address this, UK Digital PR agency Reboot Online has launched the perfect job for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to learn on their feet, with applications set to close tomorrow (31st May).
Commenting on why they wanted to set up this new initiative, Founder and CEO of Digital PR Agency Reboot Online, Shai Aharony said:
“We know better than most how difficult it is for young people to secure a job right now. We see 100s of CVs but what we’re looking for is people that stand out and right now, that can prove to be difficult. Our newest ‘Be a CEO for a week’ initiative was inspired to help young people and graduates as this exciting opportunity will open their eyes as to what it’s like to be at the very top and the type of decisions that need to be made, how to speak to clients, how to action tasks to your team; they will walk away with knowledge that we hope can shape their future. What do we gain? For us, it gives us the opportunity to not only connect with, but to better understand what is driving the next generation.”
What will the role entail?
The life of a CEO is ever varied, the elected candidate will have entire insight into how a PR agency ticks; they will sit in on client calls, support with lead generation and strategize for pitches, be privy to budgets, feedback to Operations on career development frameworks and workflows, and motivate internal teams to reach their KPIs.
Whether they’re wanting to climb the corporate ladder and be future CEO one day, or whether they want to start their own business, this job will allow young people to gain the most valuable work experience they can find. Inevitably helping with their future and standing out on their CV - not to mention uncovering new promising future leaders by giving them the opportunity to walk in the shoes of Reboot Online’s CEOs - Shai and Naomi Aharony.
