Productivity in Summer Months

Staying productive during the summer months requires a combination of strategic planning, healthy habits, and a flexible mindset.

By embracing these strategies, you can maintain your productivity and enjoy all the benefits that summer has to offer.

When it get so hot outside that I don't want to step outside for even one minute, I have well developed routine. I position myself in front of my fan which works so well, that after 15 years, operating for 8 or 10 hours at a time, it has never faltered.

I have water, of course, and all other useful supplies nearby so that I don't have to get up that often, nearly although everyone knows it's good to rise up and walk or stretch every 20 minutes or so. In this respect, I actually find the brutal heat of June, and certainly July and August, to be my most productive months of the year. I simply am not going to try to capitulate to the outside weather.

In some cases, such as the day I wrote this, it is so oppressive, that it doesn't matter what you do: you're going to be extremely hot in short order even if you hardly expend any energy. Heat stroke is a real problem for many people. You can fool yourself for a couple minutes here and there, but if you're not fully hydrated, you could be in danger fast.

I've just heard that this heat wave is going to continue on for at least another four or five days. So, for at least another four or five days, my sturdy fan will be put to good use.
